Whose eyes are those?
Takumi Nishijou is a high school student at the private Suimei Academy. He lives by himself as a shut-in, avoiding contact with the 3D world as much as possible. He suffers from intense delusions, and really has a hard time telling what is real and what is not.
In Takumi’s home town, there have been a series of strange and grisly murders, called the “New Generation” events. One day, Takumi is chatting with an online friend, who is bringing him up to speed on the latest New Gen murders. Then someone called Shogun logs on, and sends Takumi a ton of pictures of a man pinned to a wall with lots of metal stakes.
The next day, Takumi happens upon a murder scene — a girl pinning a man to the wall with metal stakes. Exactly what was in Shogun’s picture. Convinced that Shogun is targeting him, Takumi tries to avoid getting involved with any other New Gen events. But things never go as planned, and the things that he gets into are much bigger than they seem…
The Engrish in the ending. I find it amusing.
