The Most Bestest Touhous of All Tiem
Well, why not? I needed one more post in order to fill out the week, and since everyone’s curious, (not that they actually asked) I’ll talk about my favorite Touhou characters. (And post a video of them.)
100+ characters. That’s a heck of a lot for a single game series, is it not? So who are my ten favorite? Click “read more” and find out.
Suwako Moriya, She-Who-Likes-Frogs. I’d really like to have her hat. Aside from the aesthetic value, it also has good functionality. The wide brim would be very useful in keeping the Sun off your head, yeah?
Marisa Kirisame, the Ordinary Magician. MASTER SPAAAAAAARK, da ze!
Fujiwara no Mokou, the Immortal Phoenix. She burns stuff. If you’ve ever played an online game with me, you know I like to burn stuff. Put two and two together here.
Oh, and Teruyo can go die in a fire. :)
Hong Meiling, the Chinese Dragon. No, her name is not China, you goons! JAOOO~!
Yukari Yakumo, Manipulator of Boundaries. Yukari is the hax-iest person in Gensokyo. Sure, Sakuya is pretty hax too, but do any of her attacks involve summoning a TRAIN to ram into you? I thought not.
Utsuho Reiuji, the Nuclear Raven. I like Okuu, because… Heck, who DOESN’T like nuclear reactors? Okuu is also somewhat of a birdbrain. “Unyu?”
Fragrance of Oriental Sunflower
Yuka Kazami, Gensokyo’s Resident Sadist. Though very slow, she’s one of the most powerful people around. She could kick your butt on Stage 1 on Easy Mode if she wanted to.
Suika Ibuki, the Little Drunken Oni. Despite her appearance, she is also one of the strongest people you’ll ever meet. And no one likes a good party more than her.
Flandre Scarlet, the Insane Vampire Girl. Her sister needed charisma to become popular. She’s popular cuz she’s naturally cute.
And finally, my favorite Touhou character of all:
Cirno, the Lovable ⑨. THE STRONGEST. I don’t think she’s really as much of an idiot as she appears. I like to think that she’s like… Say… Calvin. Usually an idiot, but genius in odd places.
So… Yeah. That’s the end of 2010. Now, on to 2011! With energy!
Now, what am I going to do next New Years…
